I've always loved overalls on a trendy girl. I especially love the slim cut of these with the rolled cuff, no socks, and those Puma sneakers!! (It kills me that the white sneakers are overexposed in the full body shot).

harry potter's magic spell

Having stared at an empty refrigerator all afternoon, I opted to step outside for a very late brunch at Dean and Deluca. To my surprise, Soho was under a spell, transporting its residents to Hogswarts. Of course for Harry Potter fans, this was a long-awaited day and many came out to party Hogswarts-style for the midnight release of "€œHarry Potter and the Deathly Hallows."

As I was walking home, I spotted Ramona and was admiring her hair and bag as I shot her profile. I then had to run 3 blocks to catch up with her to ask for another shot.

It seems that today's deluge sent Manhattan style into hibernation so it was quite a joy to find Vanessa who didn't let the rain damper her birthday. Unfortunately, the photo doesn't show enough detail, but I love how she paired thick ribbed black knee-high socks with her rubber rain boots. Of course, the eggplant-colored bicycle and vibrant yellow sunflowers are the perfect accessories to brighten a dreary afternoon. Happy Birthday, Vanessa!
